  1. Spread “originality in the rough” – There are millions of websites, forums, and blogs where you can see the similar or highly similar information. Students of Top Engineering Colleges must train to create their original content regardless of the subject or the size, but it must be relevant. Finding a diamond in the rough seems to be a complex task most of the time.
  2. Hold open discussions about plagiarism –Every teacher should hold a discussion of what plagiarism means in the Digital Age. People, who once considered “copying”, can now be regarded as rephrasing in many cases? But students must understand the difference between creating original content and paraphrasing an existed content.
  3. Help students develop creating quality – People with digital literacy should be able to rate the relevance and quality of a source instantly. The main markers include phrasing of titles, the reputation of the source, and the standard of web design, publication date, and keywords.
  4. Train students to react in a doubt – While reading a phrase, “Research says…” or “A recent study revealed” People are obsessed with data and quick to believe dramatic figures when they see them.   5. Get to multiple literacies – The Digital Age brings us several literacies that overlap and define one another. New literacy includes Layered Literacy, which describes the way that prints and digital overlap by creating inter-textuality. It also includes Transliteracy, or the ability to read and write across a wide variety of media formats.
